The poll for Tassie’s Best Child Care Educator has now closed. See all the winners here.

WHEN choosing a child care centre, it’s important to trust the educators who will be looking after your precious little ones day after day.

There are some centres in Tasmania with so many wonderful educators that people couldn’t nominate just one person when we called for nominations on the state’s best child care educators.

Tassie mum Cass Whitehill nominated Lisa Lawless at Margate Childrens Service (Stepping Stones Margate).

“She has now looked after all five of my children and goes above and beyond for all families, even being contactable out of hours for my array of questions,” Cass said.

“You can tell how much she values her staff, and has held it together through things like moving to a new building, a building fire and COVID. She is wonderful, she is like family now and we love her.”
