More than 48 hours later, following numerous attempts to track down Tasmania’s mystery lotto winner, the lucky local has been named.

A woman from Ulverstone held the unclaimed divison one winning entry of $633,095.20 - one of two won in Tasmania over the weekend.

The North Tasmanian resident found out about the life-changing win this morning after making a trip to the shops.

“I just came down to get some sugar as I’ve been doing some cooking, but thought I’d check my TattsLotto ticket while I was here," she said.

“Oh, for goodness sakes! I’ve been out and about oblivious that I’d won all this money.”

The veteran TattsLotto player said she never dreamed of winning a prize that big but had never given up and hopes of using the cash to buy herself a new house.

The other lucky winner from Tasmania was a man from Bridport.

The winning duo are the first Tasmanians to win a division one prize in 2022.

Are you Tasmania’s mystery lotto winner?

Two Tasmanians have struck gold in a weekend lotto play, but one of them just doesn’t know it yet.

Two tickets purchased in northern Tasmania are one of nine that took out the division one prize of $633,000 each in last weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

One of the lucky winners is a man from Bridport who purchased the ticket from Bridport Newsagency while the other is a mystery unregistered entry that was sold at Ulverstone Lucky Lotto.

The owner of the Ulverstone store Peter Rees said he is celebrating the win with customers and is hoping the ticket holder comes forward soon.

“This is our third division one win in 12 years, and we are always surprised to sell another,”

“Hopefully our winner discovers this news soon and it brings them so much happiness!”

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4235 on February 19 were 34, 18, 1, 5, 20 and 23, while the supplementary numbers were 35 and 9.

The news comes as Powerball’s division one winnings jackpots to $120m which will be up for grabs on Thursday – the second-biggest jackpot in Australian lottery history.

In 2021, TattsLotto created 210 millionaires across Australia.
