The images will be used in 300,000-plus printed catalogues, in-store and digitally.

This year, Witchery shot its campaign in wheat fields near Cressy and on the East Coast.

Country Road — which was looking for an urban working waterfront location — decided Hobart was the perfect match for its recent campaign.

“Tasmania is being sought more and more by Australia’s fashion labels, with our unique landscapes the perfect backdrop for brands looking to embrace the cooler seasons” said Tourism Tasmania chief marketing officer Emma Terry.

“The partnership with Country Road is an innovative way to show Tasmania as a vibrant destination with a modern and contemporary edge and reinforce the state’s winter appeal to consumers in new and interesting ways.”

Country Road marketing content manager Kristina Jolly said Hobart’s clear skies, crisp air and still waters provided the perfect backdrop to the brand’s shoot.

The campaign also features Tasmanian couple Kif and Anna Weber in their “Live With Us” section in the catalogue and on their website.

Kif is a Hobart-based restaurateur of Frank, Suzi Luck’s and Smolt Kitchen fame, while his wife Anna is a jewellery designer.

Their CR campaign story focuses on their creative careers and Hobart’s urban lifestyle.

Tasmanian-born fashion producer Skye Campbell was a consultant on the shoot and integral in scoping Hobart as the location.

Stills of Kif and Anna were shot by Tasmanian-based photographer Adam Gibson.
