SPRINGFARM Estate is set for a significant expansion if a subdivision application is approved by Kingborough Council.

Applicant PDA Surveyors submitted the expansive subdivision for 39 more blocks at 63 Spring Farm Rd to the council earlier this month.

More than 160 of the development’s 232 lots already approved have been sold.

The estate is bordered by Southern Outlet, Hobart Regional Cemetery and the Kingston Twins Ovals, and is a stone’s throw from Kingston High School.

The latest planning permit application will see four lots split into almost 10 times as many blocks and two roads and a footpath built.

The largest block proposed is 689 square metres with the smallest at 239 sqm.

Those wishing to make a submission to the council have until December 21 to do so.
