Organisers say the track for the upcoming Red Bull Hardline Tasmania event, which will take place between February 7 and 8 at Maydena Bike Park, promises “an even more thrilling experience for riders and spectators alike.”

The 2025 course will be 300m longer, with new and extended jumps and a brand new “supercross-style” section.

Red Bull Hardline Tasmania invitee Darcy Coutts has tested sections of the track and said it “keeps you guessing.”

“The new features for Red Bull Hardline Tasmania keep you on your toes,” Coutts said.

“The course is longer with an extended finish about 300 meters further down the hill and with more jumps, so it’s very fast-paced and will make for an exciting finish.

“Higher up, there are multiple lines to choose from, and some features are more technical, like the rebuilt rock garden, which forces you to take a higher line and a more technical log hit.

“Plus, many of the gaps on the jumps have been extended, promising some big air.”

Maydena Bike Park Owner Simon French described the new track as “bigger, better, and a little bit longer.”

“We’ve put in a whole bunch of new features throughout the course, so it’s made it a more intensive racing experience,” Mr French said.

“There’s less room to have a break as you are going down the course.

“But probably the big thing from a spectator point of view is we’ve brought the course this year right down to the heart of the event village.”
