One person sustains serious injuries in two-vehicle crash on Frankford Rd at Harford

A man has died after a van and a car collided in northern Tasmania.

UPDATED: A man has died after a van and a car collided in northern Tasmania.

Police said the accident scene on Frankford Rd, Harford, remained closed between Holwell Rd and 5km east of the Bakers Beach Rd turn-off.

Traffic is being diverted.

EARLIER: POLICE and emergency service crews are attending a serious two-vehicle crash in northern Tasmania.

In a brief statement about 8.15am, police said one person had sustained serious injuries in the crash, which occurred on Frankford Rd at Harford near the Bakers Beach turn-off.

TASMANIA’S COLD SNAP CONTINUES

Police said the road was closed in both directions and traffic was being diverted from the area.
