The most expensive rentals in Tasmania have revealed a mix of inner-city luxury, rural lifestyle and even a surprising addition in one of Hobart’s lower socio-economic suburbs.
Number 15 Victoria Esplanade in Bellerive has taken the title for Hobart’s most expensive rental, with an asking price of $1500 a week.
The most expensive apartment is listed for $1200 a week; a three-bedroom, two-bathroom Battery Point property in Albuera Street.
It features polished floors, Huon pine window frames and folding wooden shutters, walk-in robe and stunning bathroom off the master bedroom as well as a powder room.
A surprising addition to the list is a four-bedroom home in Goodwood, with an asking price of $1000 a week for a one-to-three-month lease.
Last month, a refurbished industrial property transformed into a stunning inner city apartment listed for $1400 a week was snapped up in less than 12 hours.
The current listings on realestate.com.au show some pricey listings — and mostly fancy pads to justify the price — right across Tasmania.
