Jetstar launches huge 25,000 fare Tasmania flight sale starting from $46

A collaboration between Tourism Tasmania and Jetstar means 25,000 fares to and from the Apple Isle will go on sale today, hoping to coax more tourists to the state’s rugged wilderness and coastline.

Jetstar has launched its ‘Tasmania Sale’ with low fares to and from Hobart and Launceston starting from as little as $46 one-way between Melbourne.

Sale fares for Launceston include Sydney—Launceston from $52 and Brisbane—Launceston from $89.

Those hoping to travel to and from our capital can snag a deal with fares such as Sydney—Hobart from $69, Gold Coast—Hobart from $99, Melbourne—Hobart from $59 and Adelaide—Hobart from $76.

Travel dates vary per route but include late April to early December 2025.

Jetstar’s executive manager for customers Jenn Armor said Jetstar was excited to be working with Tourism Tasmania to allow more people to experience all that Tasmania has to offer.

“With fares starting from as little as $46, we are committed to providing low-cost travel options, allowing customers to takeoff more and have a holiday in Tasmania this year.”

The sale ends at 11.59pm on Monday, March 31 unless sold out prior.
