WITHOUT US YOU WOULD HAVE NEVER LEARNT ABOUT LOVE, Jason Phu | Dark Mofo 2023

This special Dark Mofo exclusive commission will wow the kids and parents alike. Jason Phu’s work installed at the Baha’i Centre – which features hundreds of repurposed toys and an original electronic orchestral score, functions as a commentary on consumption. How we imbue inanimate objects with such meaning. It’s cute, it’s kitsch and it’s thought provoking. It’s also a bit hellish. The kids will love it.
