A hearing date for a Tasmanian property mogul fighting council over allegedly renovating his heritage-listed garden has been set.
Errol Clayton Stewart and his company Stewart Family Tasmanian Investments Pty Ltd have pleaded not guilty to identical counts of undertake development contrary to Hobart Interim Planning Scheme 2015.
No wrongdoing is alleged against any other member of the company.
In court, it was heard that the hearing would take three days and six Hobart City Council employees will be called to give evidence.
It has previously been reported that Stewart is alleged to have violated planning laws by ripping up the garden of his Red Chapel Avenue home at Sandy Bay.
The property was bought by the company for $1.77m in December 2020.
The garden has previously featured in Australian House & Garden and Home Beautiful.
Any proofs of evidence of any expert witness must be handed in to court at least two weeks before the hearing start date.
The hearing will run from August 28 to 30.
