Death-defying stunts will be showcased at a freestyle motocross and BMX spectacular at Ninja Stadium next year, with some of the best riders in the world set to shock and thrill Hobartians.
The Freestyle Kings event comprises 50 shows across six countries and will descend on Bellerive on February 8, 2026.
Among the daredevils preparing to make the journey south are Robbie Maddison of Crusty Demons fame and 20-time X-Games gold medallist Rob Adelberg.
Maddison’s sons, Kruz, 14, and Jagger, 11, who have followed in their father’s thrillseeking footsteps, will also make an appearance.
The proud dad said he was in the twilight of his freestyle motocross career but found great joy in watching his kids flourish on the bike.
“My accomplishments on a dirt bike have been beyond my wildest dreams, but by far my greatest achievement is watching my three boys share the same passion I have for this sport, and to see them push through the nerves and perform in sellout shows across the globe,” he said.
Jagger said his mum was also a great support and came to all of his and his brother’s shows.
“She is our biggest cheerleader, although she is probably more nervous than us when it comes to our turn to jump in the show,” he said.
Adelberg, the current back-to-back freestyle motocross world champion, said there was “no better crowd to ride in front of than in places like Hobart”.
“Make no mistake, [these are] the best riders on the planet, who will be throwing down tricks that need to be seen to be believed,” he said.
Tickets to Freestyle Kings go on sale on August 28 and can be purchased via Ticketek.
