50 of Tasmania’s Best Dressed Dogs: Readers share photos

When we asked to see readers’ photos of their cute dogs, we were inundated with hundreds of nominations. Here are our picks for Tassie’s Best Dressed Dogs in Part 1 of finding the state’s cutest >

Every Dog day care centre co-owner Maddison Johnson took this photo of two of her pooches who made it to the front page of the paper last Monday.

From pooches donning hats to beachside poses and weekend Bunnings trips, hundreds of readers have shared photos of their furry family members after we put out the call to find Tasmania’s Cutest Dogs.

So far, we’ve seen photos of rescue pups, new additions gained during the COVID-19 lockdown and old souls who have been part of the family for more than a decade.

From today, The Mercury will roll out a special online photo gallery each day celebrating our state’s adorable pooches in our quest to find the state’s cutest.
