SAMUEL Henry Clark was meant to be born on Tuesday, but Christmas came early for his adoring parents and siblings.
The newborn was welcomed into the world at 11.45am on December 17 weighing 2.3kg after mum Jennifer Parremore was induced early due to some minor complications.
“We had him at 37 weeks. The birth was very quick, it was only four hours from start to finish,” Ms Parremore told the Mercury.
“He came home on December 21. We were a little bit worried as we had a doctor’s appointment Christmas Eve and we noticed his weight had dropped a little bit too much, but he improved overnight and we were lucky enough to have him home with us for Christmas.
“We had a few little things for him under the tree. Everything was just perfect.”
Ms Parremore said the whole process had been made easier by her other three children – Ammelia, 7, Owen, 5, and Oliver, 2.
“He looks so much like his older sister,” she said.
“They just love him. They’ve been so helpful with everything and love their cuddles.
“My youngest, Oliver, is the one that wants to hold him all the time.
“We were hoping for another girl to even it out but my daughter is happy she doesn’t have to share her stuff.”
