After closing their Bowden store in July, Caro Club also will be closing a second eatery. But fans may not be left too hungry.

Makan venue manager on opening new restaurant amid closures

After calling it quits on their first store in July, Caro Club has announced the closure of their Edwardstown eatery.

On Sunday, the beloved burger joint took to Facebook to announce the closure, just over a year after opening.

“The time has come for us to close the doors at our Edwardstown home,” the post read.

“It may have been short, but it certainly was sweet.

“We want to thank all our loyal customers who dropped by each weekend to support our business and grab some fried chook or a burger, we bloody appreciated it.”

But fear not as you’ll still be able to get your burger fix from their food truck which will be hitting the streets of Adelaide “as much as we can.”

“We’re taking it back to our roots, and shifting our focus to the food truck and hitting the streets of Adelaide as much as we can,” they posted.

“So make sure you keep an eye out for us at the next event and get your fix.

“Again, we thank ya, love ya, will miss ya.”

The business started slinging burgers out of their food truck in 2017 before opening their first bricks-and-mortar store within Bowden Cellars at Plant 3 Bowden four years later.

After three “beautiful years” the business announced the closure of their Bowden store in June.

A familiar face at local events like Tasting Australia and the Royal Adelaide Show, Caro Club opened their South Road store last October.

It comes as a popular cafe in Adelaide west announced it would be shutting its door for good, after serving the community for 16 years. In a shock announcement shared to social media on Thursday, The Cooks Pantry, on Jetty Rd at Grange, revealed the “difficult decision” had been made to permanently close.
