Man suffers critical injury to leg at workplace in Adelaide’s north
Emergency crews are currently responding to a serious workplace accident where a man in his 50s has suffered a significant leg injury and is in a critical condition.

A man in his 50s has suffered critical injuries to his leg at a business in Adelaide’s northern suburbs on Friday, with emergency crews currently responding to the incident.
Emergency services were called to Tri-Metal Engineering in Para Hills West, just before 1.30pm, to reports that a man’s leg had sustained significant injuries from machinery.
The Advertiser understands police investigators also attended the scene.
A spokesperson for SafeWork SA said they were aware of incident and would be attending the workplace to investigate.
“SafeWork SA has been notified about a workplace incident at a business in Para Hills West about 1.30pm today,” they said.
“An injured worker was treated on site before being taken to hospital.
“A SafeWork SA Inspector is attending the scene to make further enquiries.”
MedStar crews were also called to the address and transported the man to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical condition.
The Advertiser has contacted the business for comment.
