A man is in a critical condition after he was struck by a ute on a busy highway in Adelaide’s northern suburbs on Christmas night.

A man is in critical condition after he was struck by a ute on Christmas night.
Emergency services were called after reports a car had collided with a pedestrian on Salisbury Highway at Parafield Gardens on Wednesday, about 9pm.
When they arrived, they found a 34-year-old man had been struck by an Isuzu D Max utility.
He sustained life-threatening injuries and was conveyed to hospital – where he remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle, a 59-year-old woman from Ferryden Park, is assisting police with inquiries.
Police are continuing their investigation and urge anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online.
