Police investigating after firearms stolen from New Norfolk
Police are seeking information after shotguns, rifles and ammunition were stolen from home north of Hobart.

POLICE are investigating after seven registered firearms and ammunition was stolen from a home in New Norfolk yesterday.
Tasmanian Police say they were called to the house on North Crescent about 4.30pm Monday, January 13, after the owner returned home to find the front door lock had been forced open.

The owner’s gun safe and a separate container containing ammunition were also
forced open.
The stolen firearms include three double barrel shotguns, three rifles and one single barrel
shotgun.
