Police investigate burglary at Park Grove construction site

Thousands of dollars worth of power tools were stolen from a construction site overnight.

NEARLY $10,000 worth of power tools have been stolen from a Burnie construction site.

A shipping container on West Park Grove, Park Grove, was entered between 5.30pm yesterday and 8.30am today.

Burnie Criminal Investigation Branch First Class Constable Joshua Wood said a “significant number” of power tools were stolen during the burglary.

Anyone with information in relation to the theft, suspicious activity at the building site or CCTV/dashcam footage of the area is asked to come forward.
