Man charged over child porn, bestiality material

A LINDISFARNE man is facing charges of possessing child exploitation and bestiality material.
The 48-year-old has been charged with possessing 587 images of child pornography in July last year.
A second count relates to the man allegedly having 82 bestiality images.
In a separate matter a teenager from Bellerive was charged with possession of bestiality material.
Police allege the 19-year-old possessed 30 images and 21 videos depicting sexual acts between people and a variety of animals.
The offence allegedly occurred in Bellerive on July 9 last year.
Both men will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court next month.
