Warwick could soon see its first major industrial precinct in more than a decade as expressions of interest open.
The proposed ‘Helios Business Park’ is targeted at national and large distribution companies looking to breakout in the Warwick region.
Listed by LJ Hooker Commercial Toowoomba and will be the second major development project behind Warwick’s newly established Home and Life Centre on Albion St.
Senior commercial sales executive Justin Eastwell said there’s been an overwhelming number of inquiries in just two weeks.
“There’s been not much in the way of industrial land to purchase or lease in the area for about 20 years, so it’s prime development,” he said.
“The land is offered at a better price than in those industrial areas in bigger cities, so we’re hoping to attract buyers or developers from those areas as well.”
Mr Eastwell said they’re hoping to secure contracts by December 2024, with the prospect of seeing the precinct come to life in the first quarter of 2025.
The development is set to be rolled out in two phases, offering a number of smaller lots for local service and trade businesses with lot sizes range from 5000sq metres to two hectares.
It’s prime location next to the Cunningham Highway is less than five kilometres from Warwick’s CBD and is the main travel route for thousands of passenger and heavy vehicles.
All inquiries can be directed to LJ Hooker Commercial’s Justin Eastwell or Chris Stewart.
