Elderly man dies after hit by car at O’Keefe St, Woolloongabba
An elderly man has died after he was hit by a car at a busy intersection on Brisbane’s southside this week.

An elderly man has died in hospital after he was hit by a car in Brisbane’s inner south on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to a reported vehicle and pedestrian collision at O’Keefe St, near the intersection of Wolseley St, Woolloongabba, just after midday.
A 74-year-old pedestrian was taken to the nearby Princess Alexandra Hospital in a life-threatening condition. He died in hospital on Friday morning as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
The driver of the car, a woman in her sixties, was not physically injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing to investigate and anyone who witnessed the accident, or with relevant footage is urged to contact police.
