A man is fighting for life after he was struck by a vehicle at a busy Brisbane intersection just after midday.
Emergency services were called to a reported vehicle and pedestrian collision at O’Keefe St, near the intersection of Wolseley St, Woolloongabba at 12.08pm.
According to the Queensland Ambulance Service, the pedestrian, a man in his 70s, was taken to the nearby Princess Alexandra Hospital in a life-threatening condition.
Another person was taken to hospital with emotional distress.
Diversions are in place and the Forensic Crash Unit is on scene.
