A man has been charged following an alleged assault in Brisbane’s inner north overnight on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to Caxton St in Milton just after 11pm, where they found a man with significant head injuries.
The injured 21-year-old from Bald Hills was treated at the scene before being taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police arrested and detained a 29-year-old Warner man who has since been charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm.
He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court at the end of the month.
