A ONE Nation billboard truck has been torched in the carpark of a shopping centre on Hobart’s Eastern shore.
Tasmania Fire Service and Tasmania Police responded to the vehicle fire reported shortly before 5.30pm at the Shoreline shopping centre in Howrah.
The truck, being driven by One Nation Senate candidate Adam Lambert was set on fire while Mr Lambert was inside the shopping centre buying groceries.

In a statement on her Facebook page One Nation leader Pauline Hanson slammed the actions of the person or persons responsible, blaming the fire on the “left”.
Our One Nation truck in Tasmania was parked outside a shop while our candidate was buying groceries. Someone was seen torching it before fleeing.

“This is what the left do to conservative parties. Yesterday one of our volunteers was bashed and called a “white dog” because he asked a man to stop wrecking our signs in Cowan. I’m concerned about where politics is heading in this country,” Ms Hanson said.
In a video on his Facebook page, Mr Lambert said he returned from the shopping centre to find his car in flames.

“If you don’t like us don’t vote for us, but for those magnificent supporters who have voted for us this is a little more encouragement on how we have to work a bit harder for you guys next time,” he said.
A spokesman for Tasmania Police said police had attended the fire, but was unable to provide any further information.
