The search for a missing swimmer on the Mid North Coast will resume in the morning, after authorities failed to find the teenager.

NSW Police in a statement said emergency services were called to Little Bay Beach in Arakoon at about 4.20pm on Sunday, November 30, after reports of an 18-year-old man was in trouble in the water.
