Woman dies after a car and truck collided outside Maningrida
Police are investigating a devastating crash involving a car and truck, which has resulted in a woman’s death.

A WOMAN has tragically died following a crash involving a sedan and a truck.
At 10.19am on Saturday Maningrida police responded to a report of the crash 16km outside Maningrida.
Upon arrival police found a male occupant of the sedan with serious injuries and a woman trapped inside the car.
The man was taken to the nearby health clinic for treatment while efforts were made eve the woman, who died at the scene.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
Major Crash Investigations detectives are investigating the crash.
Motorists travelling in the area are advised road diversions are in place and are urged to proceed with caution in the area.
