A 60-year-old man accused of raping a woman known to him will face the Darwin Local Court.
Police arrested the man on Thursday in relation to a sexual assault that took place at an address in Berriman on June 27.
Police allege he sexually assaulted a woman known to him at the address and have charged him with sexual intercourse without consent.
Police from the Sex Crimes Section are continuing to investigate the incident.
He will face the Darwin Local Court on July 4.
Detectives urge anyone who has information about the assault to contact police on 131 444 and quote reference NTP2500065760.
