NT under-18s players selected to represent at national hockey championships
The NT hockey under-18s sides have touched down in Perth for the national championships where they hope their exciting blend of talent can take the challenge to the rest of the country.

The NT hockey under-18s sides have touched down in Perth for the national championships where they hope their exciting blend of talent can take the challenge to the rest of the country.
The 2025 Hockey Australia Under 18 National Championships will be held at Perth Hockey Stadium and the Melville Toyota Hockey Stadium through to July 12.
And the Territory has sent a talented mix of players with Stingers experienced and debutants to take on the championships to help build depth into the future.
Michelle Caden is coaching the women’s side with the likes of Niesha Casimiro, Holly Beath, Maya Nunn and Sophie Aranha among those to keep an eye out for.
Caden said her squad had a strong set of experienced players to complement an incoming group of debutants looking to make their mark.
“A slew of six talented debutants including Zarah Barnes and Samara Modra are ones to watch in this young side building for the future,” she said.
“Returning experienced player Maddi MacDonald will bring much needed strength and leadership to the team alongside a much improved Sophie Nunn.”
On the men’s side, coach David Skippings is looking forward to seeing Stingers players such as Joe Lauritsen and Tobias Jenner show what they can do.
“Joe with his ability to control the movement from the back and overhead to go forward, and Toby with his midfield possession and ability to go forward,” Skippings said.
“Overage Travis Skippings with his ability to read the game and intercept opposition attacking movement, while Charlie Beath and Kade Kimlin up front will give us plenty of goal scoring ability.
“It is a very young side but a very talented side looking to make a future for themselves at the next level.”
