Guests at Paris wedding of Tamie Ingham take to social media

A who’s who of Australia’s business, entertainment and fashion descended in Paris for Tamie Ingham’s nuptials. See photos.

Chicken heiress Tamie Ingham has married celebrity chef Guillaume Brahimi in a romantic rose garden wedding at the iconic Musee Rodin in Paris.

The 38-year-old Ingham, and the French-born chef, 55, hired the spectacular seven-acre garden of the Musée Rwodin, at a cost of $60,000, to exchange vows, before sharing cocktails under the famous 1882 marble Kiss statue.

Among the star-studded guests were Lachlan Murdoch, 51, who served as a groomsman, and TV presenter Karl Stefanovic’s wife Jasmine, 39, who was a bridesmaid.

“The golden tent in the garden has been collapsed, they exchanged vows in the garden, the oasis and most romantic corner in the heart of Paris, you would never know you were in the city,” said the museum’s head of communications, Clémence Goldberger.

“The garden is beautiful, peaceful and protected, it’s very aristocratic. You can see the tip of the Eiffel Tower in the distance and the 17th and 18th architecture is very aristocratic.”

The couple and their guests, including Rey Vakili and soon-to-be-husband Johnny Ingham, Tamie’s brother, celebrated with family and friends afterwards with a reception at Maxim’s de Paris, once the most famous restaurant in the world, which boasted a Michelin star, on Wednesday night.

A cavalcade of chauffeur-driven cars ferried stars of Australian showbiz, business and fashion to the smart art deco restaurant for the evening including couples Lachlan and Sarah Murdoch and Grant Kenny and his new partner Stojanka Bulic, Lisa Wipfli and her husband Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli. Also on the guest list was Australian jeweller Olivia Bond, swimwear designer Eve Miskin, and Elke Long.

Lisa Wipfli shared several intimate details from the pre-event on Tuesday, including a plate of snails as a pre-wedding dinner.

Friends shared photos of Tamie’s glittering diamond wedding accessories, including a collection of five diamond earrings.

Jasmine Stefanovic shared on social media a black and white picture of the bride and groom with guests on the rooftop of Girafe Paris, a seafood restaurant in the shadows of the Eiffel Tower.

Fashion editor Caroline Tran and husband James Sturrock, and Jasmine’s close friend Lauryn Rakic, took selfies with the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower.

The grandchild of the late thoroughbred horse racing figure Jack Ingham, who is the brother of billionaire chook baron Bob, fell in love with the museum venue when she visited Paris in 2021.

She and Guillaume waited a year to book the grand rose garden, which was peppered with statues by the French sculptor Auguste Rodin.

“Because they got engaged in Paris, they wanted to tie the knot in Paris,” a museum source said.

“She (Tamie) says Paris is the city of love and Guillaume was born in the city, both were very keen to return to get married in this city,” the source added.

“She (Tamie) wanted the rose garden particularly, she says it’s romantic and the wedding pictures will be great because it’s adjacent to the famous bronze Gates Of Hell and the grand sculpture garden with the Kiss.”

In 1916, a year before his death, French sculptor Auguste Rodin bequeathed his works and possessions to the French state which, in turn purchased the elegant Hôtel Biron and turned it into a museum in honour of the artist.

In 2013 the Inghams sold their business for $850 million.

It will be the first of three upcoming “destination weddings” planned for the European summer for the Inghams, with Tamie’s brother Johnny and sister Katie Ingham all set to marry their respective partners over the coming weeks.
