Police are seeking assistance to find a 11-year-old girl missing from Carrara.

An 11-year-old girl from Carrara is missing, with police seeking urgent public assistance to locate the young Gold Coast girl.

The girl, who was reported missing from Carrara yesterday afternoon, was last seen at a Nerang Broadbeach Road address at about 3pm.

She was also sighted in the Palm Beach area around 9.30pm.

She was last seen wearing denim shorts, a white jumper with purple writing on the back and white shoes.

The girl is Caucasian, approximately 55cm tall, with an average build, brown hair and brown eyes.

Police and family hold concerns for the young girl as her disappearance is out of character.

Investigators believe the girl could be in the Palm Beach or Tugan area.
