Man hit by vehicle on Pacific Highway; in critical condition

A man in his 40s was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a life-threatening condition following an incident on the Pacific Highway this morning.

Emergency services were called the Pacific Highway southbound lane at Carrara around 7.30am after a vehicle and pedestrian incident.

A 46-year-old man was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a life-threatening condition.

He remains in the hospital in a serious condition.

The incident happens just days after a 63-year-old man was killed after he was hit by two cars in Carrara on Thursday night.
