The online sale of a mobile phone turned into a dramatic robbery after the man claiming he wanted to buy a woman’s phone fled without paying.
Police released CCTV of the pair talking in the lobby of a Labrador unit complex about 11.30pm on Thursday last week.
Police say the 39-year-old woman had agreed to meet the man after advertising her mobile phone for sale online.
The CCTV shows them talking before the man allegedly flees with her phone in hand.
He did not pay.
The woman tries to stop him but the man breaks free from her hold.
She was not physically injured.
Police are urging anyone with any information to contact PoliceLink on 131 444 or their nearest police station.
