A MOTORCYCLIST has died following an early morning crash north of Hobart.
Tasmania Police said a 26-year-old male was killed when his motorbike crashed on Augusta Rd, Lenah Valley, at 6am on Sunday.
The road was closed to motorists for about three hours as crash investigators examined the scene.
Police are calling on witnesses who might have seen the crash or obtained dashcam footage of a black, white and red motorbike in the Hobart, Lenah Valley and North Hobart areas across Sunday morning.
