A BODY found in bushland at Glenlusk is believed to be that of missing Glenorchy man Robert Bruce Young, police say.

Sadly around 10.30am this morning police discovered the body of a deceased man in

bushland at Glenlusk.

In a brief statement yesterday afternoon, Tasmania Police said Mr Young was last seen on Monday.

It was believed he may have been travelling to Collinsvale where he has cut wood previously.

My Young was reported to be wearing blue jeans, a navy blue knitted jumper with material on the elbow and a black japara.

Police said there were no suspicious circumstances.

“A formal identification will be conducted and a report prepared for the Coroner,” a police spokesperson said.

“Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones at this sad time.”
