Two women have been rushed to hospital following a serious single vehicle crash on a road leading to popular Far North scenic spots. Here’s what we know.

Two women have been rushed to hospital after a car crash in Aloomba.
The women, both 24 years of age, were driving on Behana Gorge Rd when their car struck a pole about 8.40pm on Wednesday.
Paramedics and police responded shortly after.
One woman suffered a head injury and the other soft tissue injuries.
Both women were in a stable condition when paramedics transported them to Cairns Hospital.
One remains in hospital in a stable condition; the other has been discharged.
The crash follows a separate emergency response at Behana Gorge earlier on Wednesday when a solo male kayaker suffered spinal injuries after he struck a tree in Behana Creek.
He remains in Cairns Hospital in a critical condition.
