UPDATE, TUESDAY: The worried family of a missing Far North man were able to breathe a sigh of relief after the man was located.
The family of Neil Wilkinson, a 57-year-old man from Dimbulah, were worried about his “out of character” disappearance before he was located.
Queensland Police said Mr Wilkinson was found “safe and well” and transported to Mount Isa hospital where he is currently being treated.
EARLIER, MONDAY: Police are seeking public assistance to locate Neil Wilkinson, a 57-year-old man from Dimbulah.
Mr Wilkinson was last seen on August 17 leaving an address on Boonmoo Rd, Dimbulah, which is about 74km west of Atherton by road.
Mr Wilkinson is described as caucasian, about 170cm tall with a fair complexion, grey hair and brown eyes.
He may be travelling in his vehicle, a white 2011 Mazda BT ute with QLD registration 518WLY.
Police and Mr Wilkinson’s family hold concern for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
Police urge anyone who may have seen Neil or has knowledge of his whereabouts to come forward.
