AS WE holiday at home for the foreseeable future, businesses across the state have begun launching special deals to entice Tasmanians to their corner of the state.

PREMIER ENCOURAGES HOLIDAYS AT HOME DESPITE TRAVEL BUBBLE

NORTHERN TASMANIA

If you’re heading North, a number of hotels have some special offers for Tassie travellers.

The Hotel Grand Chancellor Launceston is offering upgraded parking, late checkout, Wi-Fi, and breakfast for up to two adults and two children for $138 per night.

Peppers Seaport and Silo Hotels and the Mantra Charles Hotel are offering a stay two nights and save up to 15 per cent deal.

Leisure Inn Penny Royal is offering 20 per cent off the best available rate, or a winter warm-up offer of a queen room for $99 per night or a two-bedroom apartment for $159 per night.

WEST COAST

A number of special offers are available across the incredible West Coast — they’re only for RACT members, but free RACT lifestyle memberships are on offer until August 31.

Escape to the mountains and stay at Cradle Mountain Hotel. You can stay two nights and save 30 per cent, or partake in a food and wine package and get food, drinks, and your accommodation.

For those wanting to explore the stunning West Coast, Strahan Village is offering the same deal. If you’re looking for something to do, you can use your discount for the historic Gordon River Cruises.

EAST COAST

Drive to the picturesque East Coast and take in the stunning sights of the Freycinet National Park and Coles Bay.

RACT members will get a deal at Freycinet Lodge with a wine and dine package.

While you’re at Coles Bay, snap up one of the special offer tickets from Pennicott Wilderness Journeys for a Wineglass Bay cruise from $99.

Further south, Twamley Farm at Buckland is offering two nights in The Stable for $495 or two nights in the Farm Pod for $295.

FLINDERS ISLAND & KING ISLAND

Sharp Airlines is offering winter packages including flights, accommodation and car hire.

Flinders Island prices start at $490 per person for two people, or $485 for two adults and two children.

King Island prices for two people start at $605.50 per person, or $549.50 per person for a family visit.

At Killiecrankie on Flinders Island, On Island Time’s Cray Shack, Wombat Lodge and Dwarf Cottage have 20 per cent off spring bookings.

SOUTHERN TASMANIA
