A primary school has officially won the internet and the hearts of many parents, with their hilarious school drop-off line signs.

Now we know it's not the typical place you'd usually expect to be entertained. But somehow, a parent committee managed to crack up tired and stressed parents while they dropped off their little ones.

"Our kids don't know why these are so funny"

In a viral Facebook post that has over 46k shares, a mum shared the funny signs at her daughter's school.

She captioned the post: "These are hilarious, our kids don’t know why these are so funny but we sure do! Thanks for the funnies."

Thousands of other mums also laughed at the gags that referenced iconic movies and songs from the '90s and '00s.

One sign said: "Can't park here!" referencing the song "Can't touch this," by MC Hammer.

Another sign showed that meme we know and love of a dreamy Ryan Gosling with the text, "Hey girl, move your car all the way up." And of course, everyone will do what Ryan says.

"Don't go blocking drop-off lanes," another sign insisted, alongside a photo from TLC's memorable 1994 video clip.

At the end of the queue was a sign with that infamous "PIVOT" scene from Friends. It read: "PIVOT!! out of the drop-off line!"

Then came the NSYNC line, "Tell the kids Bye, Bye, Bye," and honestly if you're not farewelling your kids singing this song, what are you even doing?

Not only did these signs make the morning school run bearable for many, the school's parents' association President told TODAY Parents, that it actually helped the line run a lot smoother.

"We wanted to show that the PTA has a sense of humour too," Jessica Lippillo said.

And the gesture was definitely appreciated as parents did their best to follow the instructions from their favourite celebrities and actors.
