Karen and her husband were beyond excited when they found out they were having a little girl.

The couple had been trying to fall pregnant for years, so they were over the moon when they finally heard the news.

As Karen’s pregnancy progressed, she became increasingly tired and stressed out.

But then her husband told her that “being pregnant is nothing.”

So she decided to prove him wrong. In public.

In a TikTok video, the mum-to-be filmed her husband walking towards her in a Miami shopping centre.

Others watched in confusion as he walked towards the camera.

Holding an umbrella, he had three watermelons cling-wrapped to his body, with two smaller ones on his chest and a large one strapped to his belly.

“My back is killing me!” he complained.

As others watched and laughed, he struggled to maintain his balance while standing on the escalator and making his way around the shops.

The pair passed other pregnant women, who gave him advice for moving properly with the added load.

“My back is killing me!”

While most laughed and pointed in confusion as the father-to-be walked past, others asked why he decided to wear the pregnancy belly.

One woman asked why he was doing it, to which Karen responded: “He told me being pregnant was nothing, so…”

One woman confronted the man to tell him how much she admired him. “That lady is so proud of me,” he said, grinning.  “Woman power!”

Others said he needed to add extra weight for a more realistic feel.

“Are you getting cramps yet?” Karen asked her husband. “No, but my back is killing me.” he laughed. “I can’t wait to take this off.”

“This should be a challenge for all soon-to-be dads!”

The video has amassed over 855,000 views, with women around the world enjoying watching the man struggle.

“This should be a challenge for all the soon-to-be dads,” wrote an amused fan. “At least he can laugh without peeing himself!” added another.

Some suggested he keep the added weight on while he sleeps “to make it really count” and wear “shoes one size too small.”

“Now he just needs a bunch of strangers coming up and rubbing on his belly like they know him,” laughed one person.

Another entertained woman asked Karen if she made her husband pick something up off the ground or “have him try on shoes” with the belly on.

“Make him carry all that and experience birth pains,” added another. “He said being pregnant is nothing? Give him the pain simulator too.”
