‘I’m a young mum and everyone thinks I’m actually only 12 with a baby brother’

Shae was 17 when she realised she was pregnant.

Still in high school, she realised she would have to raise a kid while she was still one herself. 

The American mum welcomed her son, Noah, in 2020 and frequently shares her life as a single mum on TikTok.

Mum said she “looks 12 years old with tattoos”

The American mum took to the social platform and filmed herself beside her child. When she grabs him and pulls him closer, he is half her body size. 

The caption read, “POV: You had your son at 17 so now you’re gonna be the young hot mum at school drop-offs.”

While she frequently uploads content about her daily life with her three-year-old son, she also receives comments telling her she barely looks her age. 

In fact, some are convinced she is actually only 12 years old.

But she’s actually 21. 

In another video, she explained that she often heads to the shops with her son, only to be stared at by strangers for her young appearance. 

She said she knows that “everyone is going to stare at them because she “looks 12 with tattoos and has a three-year-old calling [her] mummy.”

She added that her son has “straight up asked people why they were staring” at them while they go out.

“Where did you find the fountain of youth?”

Online, people were shocked when they found out her real age. 

“Where did you find the fountain of youth?” asked a fan.  “There’s no way you’re over 14,” another added. 

“Is that your little brother?” one person queried. 

“My first thought was, ‘She looks like a 14-year-old,” another laughed. 

Some shared their opinions on her teenage pregnancy, saying it’s “cute and sad at the same time” that she looks so young. 

Others said she was “financially f***ed” for having a child in her teen years. “This is not a flex,” added another. 

Although she often gets asked if she is the little sister of Noah, some don’t think she looks as young as others claim. 

“I thought you were in your early 20s,” one person commented. “You don’t look 12 ... 25 maybe!” another chimed in. 

“You do not look 12 at all,” wrote a confused person.
