I fake tan my baby but people tell me to stop because it's 'disgusting'

"Yes mama, you do you!" one person wrote on the now-viral clip, but others said it was 'horrible' and 'unnecessary'.

I love to fake tan my baby so he has the same glow as me

In the world of ParentingTok, nothing much surprises us anymore.

That was until we came across a video of a mum who shared that she fake tans her baby.

No judgement here, we'll leave that to the comments... but we have to admit we stopped scrolling in our tracks when we saw the bronzed bub.

'Everyone tells me to stop tanning my baby'

The mum influencer in question, Kylen Suttner, 21, shared the clip, which quickly gained traction with nearly a million views and over 54k likes.

In the clip, Kylen is looking tanned in a pink tracksuit while she holds up her equally as tanned baby, Suede, who is wearing a matching blue tracksuit.

The text over the clip reads: "When everyone is telling me to stop self-tanning my baby but the Loving Tan employees have families to feed."

While her reason for tanning her tot is clearly a joke, people still believe she does it, given his glowy, sun-kissed look.

'Horrible! So disgusting'

The commenters were divided by her confession, with some saying it's her choice to do what she wants, while others expressed concern over potential safety issues.

"You have to keep the tan up, it's a lifestyle!" one user joked.

Another wrote, "Yes mama, you do you!" while someone else said, "So flawless."

And a fourth said, "This would be me if I had a kid."

"I love this, I wish I had his skin colour," posted a fifth.

"I self-tan my baby too and some people just don't get it," another mum revealed.

But others were left stunned by the revelation.

"Horrible! So disgusting," one critic slammed.

Someone else said: "Why does a baby need a fake tan... so unnecessary."

Another asked, "Is this a joke, I can't tell?"

Someone replied to that by saying: "It definitely is because people say her baby has jaundice all the time so she said no she just tans him."
