Toys, random shoes, and stray baby wipes seem inevitable.

"It's time to clean the car; it's a mess"
Amanda has recently been documenting her attempts to tidy up her life, posting videos about cleaning and decluttering.
“It’s time to clean the car and let me tell you, it’s a mess,” the mum says in her now-viral clip.
She pans across her eight-seater minivan, revealing toys, litter, clothes, and fast food containers.
“I mean this is just not right. It’s just one of those things that I’ve been super blinded to,” she explains.
Armed with a laundry basket for clothes, a bin bag for rubbish, and a box for “miscellaneous crap,” Amanda gets to work, while wrangling her cheeky toddler, who seems intent on adding to the chaos.
“Can you take that off my car, please?” she asks him, showing hot pink playdough smeared across the side panel.
She does a close up of the seats covered in crumbs and asks followers for tips on the best way to clean her son’s car seat.
Amanda suspected that putting the video online would invite backlash.
“I know what you guys are going to say. ‘ How can you let the baby be in the car? How can you drive in the car like this?’” she predicts. “We are working on making it better.”
But the comments weren’t all helpful. While some praised her efforts, others criticised her for letting the mess become so extreme.
“Can we NOT normalise living this way?” one person slammed her.
“Those poor babies having to live in these conditions, my heart aches,” another agreed.
But then, this viewer defended the overwhelmed mum: "Everyone’s being so negative but she’s literally cleaning it? Yes it shouldn’t have gotten like this in the first place, but she’s taking positive steps to improve her cleanliness and situation!”
To which another added: “No one understands you have to start somewhere, at least she woke up and said enough is enough and took matters into her own hands."

"Seems like a safety hazard"
Some also raised safety concerns about the overloaded items in the car.
“If you get into an accident, every loose item in that car becomes a projectile,” one warned.
Another questioned, “Seems like a safety hazard, are the kids sick often?”
According to Raising Children Australia, keeping a clean and safe car is critical for child safety. Toys, books, and other loose items should be stored in the glovebox or boot, not left rolling around the cabin, as they can become dangerous in a crash.
