KISS FM radio host Kyle Sandilands spent a good chunk of his morning show trying to hunt down an in-demand item sold at Woolies.
The product is Tip Top’s new Cinnamon Donut Loaf and Kyle is desperate to try it.
It’s so popular that a Woolworths spokesperson said it’s “flying off the shelves” – which is probably why Kyle struggled to find it.
He spent an hour and a half on Tuesday night driving around to find a Woolies that stocked it – but sadly failed in his endeavours.
Instead, he and co-host Jackie O appointed a staffer to line up at a local Woolies store before it opened to make sure he was first to nab the sweet loaf, but he also failed.

“This is bullsh*t,” Kyle said before calling the Macquarie Park Woolworths store in Sydney.
“We went to get someone to get it, every store gets one loaf, we were first in line and the loaf was already gone,” he told the Woolies worker on the phone.
“Are you sure someone hasn’t thieved it because it’s very desirable?” he asked.
The staffer responded that she’s not even sure her store has received the item, to which Kyle said: “I need this loaf”.
And to be fair, it does sound pretty amazing.
“This scrumptious loaf is soft in a middle but also crunchy on the outside when toasted. Each slice is slightly sweetened and made with delicious bursts of Cinnamon flavour,” the product description reads.
But a Woolies spokesperson told news.com.au current stock does vary by store and they’re working closely with Tip Top to increase supply as soon as possible.
“So customers will see wider availability over coming days through next week,” he said.
“Since launching in our stores last week, the new Cinnamon Doughnut Loaf has been flying off our shelves.
“Cinnamon flavours have been popular with our customers recently, especially in cereals, and this new scrumptious loaf is already a hit in many of our stores.”
However, things could have looked very different for Kyle had he known Coles also sells the loaf.
“We’re excited to stock the Golden Cinnamon Donut Soft Loaf at all Coles supermarkets across the country,” a Coles spokesperson told news.com.au
“We’ve seen more than twice the amount sold yesterday compared to other breakfast lines which shows just how much customers are loving the new flavoured loaf.”
It’s no surprise it’s such a hit with shoppers flooding social media about the tasty treat.
“Needs it! So much for losing weight,” one person wrote on Facebook, while another added: “Omg you’re kidding”.
It is expected to be available for the next 12 months in Woolies stores across the country – except in Tasmania and the Northern Territory, where the item isn’t available at all.
But news.com.au can confirm Coles is making it part of their permanent range, with the item also sold for $5.
“This better live up to its name because I am telling you, this is going go off if it actually tastes like a cinnamon donut,” Jackie said on air.
