From Kendall Jenner to Rose McGowan: The best celebrity ‘naked’ dresses
WEARING practically nothing is a dress code for some stars. From Kendall Jenner to Rihanna, it seems like they just don’t want to wear clothes.

NO knickers, no bras and thigh-high splits ... wearing nearly-nothing is basically a dress code for some celebrities.
The “naked” dress has long been the look of choice for style stars who want to show off their ass-ets on the red carpet.
Even before supermodels Kendall Jenner (in La Perla couture) and Bella Hadid (an Alexander Wang catsuit) wore practically nothing to the Met Gala — and then the afterparties — in New York yesterday, celebs have been showing a lot of skin in the name of fashion.
Kendall’s look was even compared to another famous “nude” ensemble — Rose McGowan’s chain-link dress from ’90s.
McGowan wore the risque G-string dress to 1998 MTV Video Music Awards (where her then-boyfriend, Marilyn Manson, was her date).

Liz Hurley famously sported her now-iconic Versace safety pin dress in 1994.
Victoria’s Secret model Irina Shayk wore a revealing gown (and no undies) to the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party last year, and Rihanna — a serial nude dress offender — sported a barely-there look to the CFDAs in 2014.
“It’s so naked,” Rihanna’s stylist Mel Ottenberg told style.com.
“I don’t know if it’s shocking — I’m with her all the time, so my shock gauge is off, but I told her that I thought she was ready for this dress a while ago, and that I wasn’t.
“I’m the prude, and I’m just catching up.”
Jennifer Lopez is not “JLo” without wearing some form of naked attire.
Whether she’s exposing her abs, at least part of her booty or back, Jenny from the block’s signature look is showing skin.
As recently as last week, the 47-year-old turned heads in another naked dress.
Miley Cyrus had an entire naked phase, which led her to appear wearing, well, wearing not much at all (apart from custom-made Versace) to the MTV Video Music Awards when she hosted them in 2015.
Suspenders, it seems is a top for Miley.
Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen didn’t wear knickers with her gown to the American Music Awards last year.
She took the “nude” dress to a new level, sporting no knickers and a dramatic side-split held together with a safety pin, that went right up to her torso and left almost nothing uncovered. Like, nothing.
“Apologies to anyone harmed mentally or physically by my hooha,” Teigen joked on Instagram.
The Met Gala wasn’t the first time Bella Hadid has worn a naked look. And we can almost guarantee it won’t be her last.
