A BOUTIQUE Tasmanian vodka is on a good wicket with Australian cricket sensation David Warner coming on board as a shareholder.
Made in Tasmania with all local ingredients, including Cape Grim rainwater and barley, 666 Pure Tasmanian Vodka has enjoyed a meteoric rise in bars around the world.
The company was founded about a decade ago and in its first year of production became the first Australian spirit to win gold at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco.
Warner will help promote the product in new markets, including India where he is involved in the Indian Premier League, and Sri Lanka.
“I love Tasmania and the purity of the story,” he said.
Founder Dean Lucas said it had taken four years to finetune the triple-pot, distilled vodka and he was pleased to have established a strong association with Warner.
