Little Grace Warrior is certainly growing into her middle name as a 'wildlife warrior' with a new picture showing how much she loves animals, just like her mum and pop.

Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell’s daughter Grace is living up to her middle name Warrior, with the tot thriving around wildlife just like her mum and grandparents.

Grace Warrior Irwin Powell, named in honour of her late dad Steve Irwin, and his legacy as a ‘wildlife warrior’, looks set to don the family’s iconic khakis for good.

The two-year-old not only looks just like her mum Bindi, but loves wildlife just the same as her conservationist family.

No doubt Grace is growing up with same love for wildlife

Bindi has shared a sweet flashback photo of herself as a toddler cuddling up to a giant tortoise, alongside a picture of her own daughter in a very similar position.

The 24-year-old shared a video on Instagram of her nursing her daughter Grace as a newborn, with the caption “holding my newborn daughter wondering if she’ll love wildlife like I did growing up”.

The clip then changes to a photo of Bindi with the animal, and then another of Grace laying on top of a tortoise with her eyes closed.

She captioned the Instagram post, “Our Grace Warrior, the Wildlife Warrior.”

"Apple does not fall far from the tree"

Fans in the comment section loved the comparison images.

“It’s in the Irwin blood. You guys have the most beautiful connection with wildlife and each other. Steve Irwin genes are strong.

Another person shared, “the apple does not fall far from the tree. The Irwin genes and the spirit of your dad are so strong in that sweet little wildlife warrior.”
