Australian reality star Skye Wheatley has been spotted after returning from an overseas trip where she underwent a series of cosmetic procedures.

Wheatley, who won 2024’s I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!, recently travelled to Turkey where she had “fox eye” surgery, a procedure which uses dissolvable threads to lift and elongate the eye in order to create an upturned look.

It was popularised in 2022 by the likes of supermodel Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner.

While in Turkey, Wheatly also had an temporal lift, which is a fat transfer into the face, and a blepharoplasty, most commonly referred to as an eyelid lid, as well as undergoing massage treatments for lymphatic drainage.

Now back on home soil, the 30-year-old was seen looking dramatically different while taking selfies on her phone while sitting in the boot of her car as her son Forrest stood nearby.

Wheatley almost looked unrecognisable as her face was covered in bandage tape and bruises, which she was concealing under a black cap and sunglasses while the pair ran errands.

Wheatley wore a basketball style top and shorts, finishing the look with gold jewellery.

It’s one of the first times Wheatley has been seen in public after going under the knife in Turkey, hiding her face on social media for days.

She described the entire experience as “traumatic” but said she was “trusting the process”.

The number of travellers visiting Turkey for cosmetic enhancements has soared in recent years, particularly when it comes to dental surgery, largely do to the drastically different prices for treatment.

However, experts have warned against going abroad for medical procedures after 29 Britons — by far one of the biggest users of Turkey medical tourism — have died in the country since 2019 following cosmetic procedures, according to Express.

The UK government advised those wishing to undergo the procedures can find reputable surgeons within its own borders, adding that having any sort of procedure internationally can result in serious complications or even death.

She hasn’t been shy about talking about her surgery experience.

Over 1.4 million people travel from around the world in order to get cosmetic surgery in Turkey, according to recent stats.

It’s not the first time that the Big Brother star has gone under the knife, telling The Daily Telegraph at the Logies last month that it’s “important to be open and honest about what work you’re having done”.

“There's a lot of girls who have had so much work done but they're not honest about it and I don't think it’s right for young girls to look at that and be like ‘I should look like that too’.”

She said she’s had a rhinoplasty and had breast implants put in for the second time.

“I just feel like, if you want to do, it’s you’re body and it’s giving me confidence,” she said.
