The first-of-its-kind toddler skin spa
Huggies has announced the opening of a first-of-its-kind experience called the Huggies Ultra Dry Nappy Pants Toddler Skin Spa, which will launch in Sydney later this month.
Designed to give busy parents an opportunity to focus on their toddler’s skin, the spa will offer a special pampering experience, with complimentary massage treatments for parents and their babies to enjoy together.
Yes, it's completely FREE!
It follows research commissioned by Huggies that revealed that while 62% of Aussie parents claim to consider caring for their toddler’s skin just as important as caring for a newborn, four in five (86%) wish they had more time to dedicate to skincare, and 84% admit they struggle to prioritise it.
The spa is popping up inside Sydney's Bump Day Spa in Double Bay from Tuesday August 20th, to Saturday August 24th.
Parents will get access to expert skin specialists who will treat their toddlers to a 30-minute soothing foot bath and gentle massage. In the meantime, parents can choose between a relaxing Head, Shoulder and Neck massage or a nourishing Hand and Foot Massage.
They've really thought of everything because the spa also has play activities and toys to keep toddlers entertained throughout the session.
And to top things off, you'll receive toddler skin care tips alongside a complimentary pack of Huggies Ultra Dry Nappy Pants and a hooded toddler towel to continue the spa experience at home.

The importance of caring for your toddler's skin
Dr. Michela Sorensen, a children's doctor and mum-of-two who helped develop the toddler skin health advice for the spa, emphasises the importance of caring for a toddler's skin.
"Whether it’s new daycare centres or swimming lessons, toddlers come into contact with a range of new environmental factors that can affect their delicate skin as they become more active," she says.
"While our skin becomes thicker and more resilient as we grow, it’s important for parents to remember a toddler's skin often needs the same moisture, nourishment and protection as a newborn."
And co-founder of Bump Day Spa, Tegan Natoli, expressed her excitement about the new offering.
"After years of nurturing pre- and post-natal mums, the Bump team and I are thrilled to extend our skincare rituals to their little ones too."
The skin spa review
Anna Robards was one of the spa's first visitors and said she loved the experience.
"My skin care has always been incredibly important to me, and it’s no different when it comes to the skin care of my two little girls. As Ruby becomes more active, I know how easy it is to let a good skin routine slip off the to-do list, so I love that Huggies has created a special experience where I can treat mine and my toddlers’ skin."
Keen to try out the experience for yourself? Of course you are!
If you have a toddler aged 12-36 months, you can make an appointment from 9 am, Friday August 9th, via a booking page here.
