PRANKS aside – one Mercury reader could win a double pass to see the famous twins from an all time classic movie franchise in a Q&A show this year.
The rebellious and loveable twins Fred and George Weasley from the Harry Potter series are known to many viewers.
Nine years after the final film screened, the actors behind the characters will travel to Tasmania to discuss their time on one of the most popular movie franchise sets of all time.
The family-friendly ‘An Evening of Magic & Wizards’ tour will feature James and Oliver Phelps along with live magicians.
Oliver Phelps, who played George Weasley in the eight films, said their more than three hour event will kick off with a trivia quiz followed by live discussions and Q&A with the twins.
“We really enjoy the back and forth interaction with a live audience, just divulging stories from times we were on the films,” he said.
James Phelps, who played Fred Weasley, said on air he was hopeful COVID-19 restrictions would allow the pair to go ahead with the visit.
“(COVID-19 has) really got me itching to get the suitcase out and travelling again,” he said.
“Australia’s probably our favourite country to go to.”
The show commences at 6.30pm on November 4 at Hobart Convention Centre at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart.
