Eased coronavirus restrictions allow Tasmanian drive-in theatre to show movies at Baskerville raceway

FAMILY fun of a different kind is coming to Baskerville Raceway this week, with a pop-up drive-in theatre.
Tassie Open Air cinemas will host drive-in movies at the raceway at Old Beach from Thursday to Sunday night.
Different films will screen each night.
World War Z will screen at 6.30pm on Thursday.
Family movies including Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Labyrinth and Peter Rabbit will screen at the 6pm sessions with The Magnificent 7, Snatch and Hereditary screening at 8.30pm Friday to Sunday.
Justin Stringer said that he and his wife Ping Ping were looking forward to taking his son to see Peter Rabbit on Saturday night.
Tickets are $30 per car per movie, and tickets must be pre-booked via the Tassie Open Air cinemas Facebook page.
The pop-up theatre had been planned in March but was postponed due to coronavirus restrictions.
